Decision Spaces & Formats

Where good decisions become difficult.

My work begins where uncertainty, time pressure, conflicting goals, differing interests or unclear responsibilities make a good decision harder. Not every situation needs outside support. Some do.

Typical occasions

  • A decision is blocked even though all the information is available.
  • Several stakeholders are pulling in different directions.
  • A conflict can no longer be resolved internally and the dynamic is sharpening.
  • A direction with real consequences is due and the internal view has narrowed.
  • Agreed measures are not implemented — execution keeps going in circles.

How I work

01

Clarifying the decision space

What is actually up for decision? Who is involved? What dependencies exist?

02

Making systemic tensions visible

Which interests, dynamics and blockages are at work — including the unspoken ones?

03

Concrete next steps

Who does what, by when, with what commitment? No loose ends.

What happens in a session

We work on your concrete question. I listen, ask, separate assumptions from facts and make trade-offs and interests visible. At the end there is not my recommendation, but your sharpened view — and a next step you genuinely carry.

Realistic outcomes

  • A clearer decision question.
  • Visible criteria and trade-offs.
  • Ordered perspectives and interests.
  • Clarified accountabilities.
  • Viable next steps.

What I do not promise

  • No ready-made decision from outside.
  • No guarantee of a particular outcome.
  • No taking over of your responsibility.
  • No off-the-shelf standard solution.
